Imagine Festival phase 1 lineup dives deeper into the sound

Imagine Festival returns to Atlanta Motor Speedway for another year this September.

2018 saw the three-day camping event celebrate its fifth anniversary with an all-star roster of local and international DJs featuring Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Reliquary and White Rhino.

Festival co-founders Glenn and Madeleine Goodhand promise their fans an even more transformative experience for year six.

“Every year Imagine Festival has had an aquatic theme, but this year we wanted to dive deeper and tell a new story,” the husband-and-wife duo said.

The Goodhands say Imagine’s 2019 theme, ‘What Lies Deep at the Bottom of the Ocean,’ found its inspiration from a single by DJ and producer Seven Lions.

The track, “Oceans,” contains the lyrics, “So now I hide my heart. It’s buried somewhere deep at the bottom of the ocean.”

“We were inspired to think about what lies deep at the bottom of the ocean and the world of treasures that can be found there,” Imagine’s organizers said.

Seven Lions, Diplo, Above & Beyond, Anna Lunoe and more are listed among an eclectic fusion of mix masters announced on the festival’s phase 1 lineup.

Tickets are available now at ImagineFestival.com. Prices start at $199 for a 3-day pass and $249 for a 3-day pass with camping.
